Because I value God's teaching in the Bible, I choose to believe and follow its teachings.

	What To Believe Millennium The Bible teaches that after Jesus comes again we will spend a thousand years in Heaven with Him while the wicked are all dead. Satan and his angels will live on earth all alone. At the end of the thousand years we will all return to the earth. The wicked will be resurrected and then, with Satan and his angels, be destroyed forever. This will be the end of sin. Therefore, I know God's plan and I want to be with the saved.

I choose to believe the Bible teaching of the Millennium.

Definition

The Millennium and end to sin means: The millennium is the thousand-year reign of Jesus with His followers in Heaven between the Second Coming and the resurrection of the wicked. The desolate earth will be inhabited only by Satan and his angels. During this time the wicked dead will be shown to deserve their fate, and at the end of the millennium, Christ and His followers will return, and sin and sinners will be finally destroyed.

Student Life Applications

Knowing the Bible teaching that after Jesus comes and takes us to heaven, Satan and His angels will be left here on the empty earth for 1000 years while all the sinners will all be dead.

Knowing that the 1000 years or the millenium will come after Jesus comes while the saved are in heaven.

Knowing that the world will NOT get better and better until we have 1000 years of peace before Jesus comes as some people believe.

Knowing that when we go to heaven we will have 1000 years to satisfy our questions about how God treated each person and be assured of His love and justice.

Knowing that after the 1000 years God will move the New Jerusalem down to the earth and will finally destroy Satan, his angels and all the evil people.

Knowing that when God destroys the evil ones that their punishment will eventually burn them up and they will be gone forever.

Knowing that God will create a new and perfect earth like the original He made for Adam and Eve and the saved will live here forever and ever with sin never coming to bother us again.

Seeing how God will destroy sin forever and fuilfill His original plan for a perfect world give Faith and Hope for the future and makes me want to be saved for that new world.

Knowing the Bible teaching about the millenium and how He will punish the wicked helps me know when someone believes differently than the Bible teaches.

The millennium is the thousand-year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven between the first and second resurrections. During this time the wicked dead will be judged; the earth will be utterly desolate, without living human inhabitants, but occupied by Satan and his angels. At its close Christ with His saints and the Holy City will descend from heaven to earth. The unrighteous dead will then be resurrected, and with Satan and his angels will surround the city but fire from God will consume them and cleanse the earth.
