TEMPORAL VIRTUE GROUP Because I value the time Christ has given me, I choose to use my time wisely. |

I choose to carefully select good media.
|
Good Media related terms: entertainment, TV, videos, internet. Good media means: carefully and prayerfully planning what you will watch on TV, video, VCD/DVDs, internet computers or other media sources; consider why attending the movie theaters, and entertainment shows are discouraged. For example: choose media programs that use only good language, avoiding programs that show or talk about sex or immodesty, choose programs that are peaceful and loving and don't show fightings, killing or hateful arguments, avoid programs that glorify homosexuality, dancing, witches or spirits. Avoid programs where telling lies are shown as OK.

Earthly pleasures, SDAH, 311 |
Because I am God's child and all I see and do should be pleasing to Him, I will: Look at things that are good. |
Change the TV program when they use bad language, show violence, sex, spirits or witchcraft, dishonesty or other things that are not good. |
Be careful of CDs or videos I watch, knowing that God sees me and wants me to fill my mind with what is true and good. |
Use the internet to view only things that will build up my character as a child of God. |
Choose video games that do not emphasize violence, spirits, or things that are not good. |
Talk with my parents and teachers about how I can tell a good program from a bad one. |
Avoid spending too much time on media, even if it is good. |
Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 Time for everything “Sources of entertainment should be both innocent and instructive.”
